The Absent Generation

This show was exhibited on Bowery and 2nd ave in New York City, it was designed to last 3 days but with overwhelming demand we extended it for another 3 weeks.

We covered this space in reflective mylar, from floors to walls to ceilings, giving an incredible sensation as you walked into the space. The show was titled The Absent Generation as a thesis for todays youth, the reflective mirror on the wall gave the viewer a distorted reflection of themselves symbolizing the way we look at ourselves through the social media sense - distorted. Each evening I stood on an alleviated platform and read my insecurities out to the public. Following the reading I led the group of random New Yorkers to a Guided mediation asking them to connect with themselves and each other, they did.
